General Questions

What is Visa SavingsEdge?
Visa SavingsEdge gives Visa Business cardholders two ways to save on business expenses via coupons and card-linked offers.
  • Instant Coupons provide immediate savings at checkout from participating merchants, usually via a link or promotion code to be applied directly on the merchant’s website during checkout or to be shown in-store. Instant Coupon purchases do not earn cashback and do not require linking a card.
  • Cashback Offers require Visa Business cardholders to link their eligible Visa Business card(s) to activate Visa SavingsEdge. When cardholders use their linked card(s) to make qualifying purchases from participating merchants, they can earn cashback. Cashback offers provide discounts in the form of statement credits on future account statements. There are three types of Cashback Offers:
    • In-store Cashback: cardholders use their linked card to make qualifying purchases at participating merchants in person.
    • Online Cashback: cardholders log in to the program website, begin their online purchase by clicking on the online offer link within Visa SavingsEdge and complete their qualifying purchase on the merchant’s website
    • Travel Cashback: cardholders log into the program website to begin and complete their travel purchase within the program website
Is there a fee to link my Visa Business card in the program?
No. There is no fee to link a Visa Business card. Simply click on “link your card “ on the program website to begin. Card-linking is required only one time per card, and cardholders may link up to ten (10) cards. Some Issuers may offer a customized version of Visa SavingsEdge, and in those instances, the card-linking process may vary.

Card-Linking and Eligibility

How do I link my Visa Business card?
To link your eligible Visa Business card on the Program website, click on any button that says, “Link your card.” You will be required to read and accept the program Terms and Conditions on your own behalf and on behalf of your business to complete your card-linking.
How do I know if my Visa Business card is eligible?
On the Program website, when you begin your Visa SavingsEdge activation and card-linking process, you will be required to enter your Visa Business card number. Visa will verify your card's eligibility and notify you if you’re able to proceed with card-linking. When your card-linking is complete, you will receive an email confirmation. Eligible cards include any Visa Business cards issued with a Small Business BIN.
Can I link more than one Visa Business card in Visa SavingsEdge?
Yes. You can link up to 10 eligible Visa Business cards under a single log in/account if you are the business owner or if you are authorized by the business owner to link multiple cards. Only the cardholder who linked the cards will receive email communications about the program and can access the password-protected section of the program website. To allow multiple cardholders to receive emails about the program and have account access on the program website, each card must be linked separately under a different email address. Then, each linked Visa Business card will be treated as a separate account and the discounts received for each qualifying purchase will appear on the account statement for the Visa Business card used to make the qualifying purchase.
Why did I receive an error message when I tried to link my card on the program website?
Be sure that you completed all required fields and that you entered the correct email address and Visa Business Card number at the start of the card-linking process. If you cannot complete your card-linking and Visa SavingsEdge activation, please contact Visa Global Customer Care Services at 1-888-466-9227 for assistance. If your Issuer offers a customized instance of Visa SavingsEdge, the card-linking process may vary, but cardholders will always be required to accept Program Terms and Conditions to qualify for Cashback Offers. A Visa Business card may only be linked in one Visa SavingsEdge program at a time.
What should I do if I receive a message that my card is already linked?
Your employer or an employee of your business who is authorized to link your card may have linked your card in the Program and activated Visa SavingsEdge on your behalf. Keep in mind, a card number may be linked in the Program only once. If another employee has the same card number and linked the card number, you cannot link the same card number in the Program. Someone told me my Visa Business card was already linked in Visa SavingsEdge. How was my card linked?
Your employer or an employee of your business who is authorized to link your card may have linked your card. If so, changes to your profile, access to the program website and receipt of program emails are available only to the authorized cardholder who linked your card. To change this, your card must be removed from the program by the cardholder who linked your Visa Business card in Visa SavingsEdge. Then you can link your Visa Business card and create an account using your own email address.
Why do I need to give my full Visa Business card number?
Your full card number is required to confirm eligibility to participate in Visa SavingsEdge to track your qualifying purchases and to enable Visa to issue your statement credits. Visa will not use this information for any purpose other than to facilitate your participation in the program.

Purchase Requirements & Offer Terms

How do I get Visa SavingsEdge discounts?
The program offers two types of discounts: Instant Coupons and Cashback Offers. For Instant Coupons: You do not need a linked Visa Business Card to qualify for savings via Instant Coupons. To get discounts via Instant Coupons, click on the offer link within an Instant Coupons Offer and review the individual Offer Details for Terms and Conditions. Make a qualifying purchase at the Merchant’s website, following the redemption instructions described in the Offer Details. You may need to present a coupon code online or in-person at checkout. Please review complete Merchant Offer Terms and Conditions as they will vary by Merchant. There may be additional limits and restrictions associated with a given Instant Coupon Offer, including limited validity periods and limitations on the number of transactions eligible to receive discounts. Instant Coupon purchases do not earn cashback. For Cashback Offers: To qualify for Cashback Offers, you must successfully link an eligible Visa Business card in the Program. When you use your linked card to make qualifying purchases at participating merchants with cashback offers, you will receive cashback in the form of a statement credit. Statement credits will be posted on a future Visa Business Card statement. Note that Online Cashback Offers, In-store Cashback Offers and Travel Cashback Offers have different requirements to qualify for cashback. Please view the Program website for more details on each offer type and requirements to qualify for cashback. You may also view cashback earned in the Program in the Cashback Tracker on the program website. If your Issuer offers a customized instance of Visa SavingsEdge, the Cashback Tracker feature may not be available.

To qualify for In-Store Cashback Offers

  1. Link an eligible Visa Business Card and log in to the Visa SavingsEdge website.
  2. Search for participating Merchants near you.
  3. Visit participating locations and shop or dine.
  4. Pay with your linked Visa Business Card to qualify for cashback.

To qualify for Online Cashback Offers

  1. Link an eligible Visa Business card and log in to the Visa SavingsEdge website.
  2. Select the “Shop now” link in the online offer to begin purchase. Purchase must be initiated through the offer link to qualify for cashback.
  3. Offer link will redirect you to a participating merchant website.
  4. Complete your purchase and pay with your linked Visa Business card in the same web session to qualify for cashback.

To qualify for Travel Cashback Offers:

  1. Link an eligible Visa Business card, log in to the Visa SavingsEdge website.
  2. Click the “Book travel” link within any Travel Cashback offer.
  3. Complete your booking or reservation by paying with your linked Visa Business card.
  4. Purchase must be initiated with the travel cashback offer link and completed within Visa SavingsEdge website to qualify for cashback.
How is the amount of the discount calculated?
For Cashback Offers, the discount amount is automatically calculated based on the specific merchant offer terms and conditions. For example, if a merchant is offering a 5% discount on all qualifying purchases, then a qualifying purchase of $100 will receive a $5 credit on a future account statement. For Instant Coupon Offers, cardholders must follow the merchant redemption instructions, which may include entering a promotion code during checkout at the merchant’s website or providing a code in-store.
Does the discount apply to the total purchase price, including sales tax, shipping, etc.?
Yes, the discount applies to the total purchase price which may include applicable sales taxes and shipping charges. However, there may be limits and restrictions associated with select merchant discounts. Please review each merchant discount for details. Instant Coupons can be accessed on the Program website — no log in needed, and Cashback Offers can be accessed by cardholders who have linked a Visa Business card and log in on the Program website. If Issuers offer a custom instance of Visa SavingsEdge, offer access may vary.
What purchases qualify to receive a discount in the form of a statement credit? What is a qualifying purchase?
For Cashback Offers, qualifying purchases include any signature-based purchase, Internet purchase, phone or mail order purchase, bill payment, contactless purchase (a purchase made by holding your Visa card or other device up to a secure reader instead of swiping your card), or small dollar purchase for which you are not required to sign, made with a linked Visa Business Card, which is processed or submitted through the VisaNet payment system. Do not use a Personal Identification Number (PIN) when paying for your purchases with your linked Visa Business Card if you want to receive a merchant discount for such purchases. PIN-based purchases, purchases you initiate through identification technology that substitutes for a PIN, payments of existing card balances, balance transfers, cash advances, ATM transactions, convenience checks, Interlink-processed transactions, fees charged (for example, annual fees, finance charges, and related service charges, if any apply), payments made for pre-paid and re-loadable cards such as certain gift cards, payments made for payment instruments that can readily be converted to cash (for example, traveler’s checks, money orders, wire transfers, and similar products or services), or transactions that are not processed through the VisaNet payment system are not qualifying purchases.
What if I made purchases before I linked my card in Visa SavingsEdge?
Only the qualifying purchases you make after you link your Visa Business card (and receive confirmation of your completed card-linking) can qualify for a cashback discount.
How do I find participating merchants?
Participating merchants and current offer details are available on the Program website - www.visasavingsedge.com. Instant Coupons can be accessed without a linked card, however Cashback Offer details will be accessible to cardholders who link a Visa Business card and log in to Visa SavingsEdge. New offers may be added, or existing offers may be modified or removed at any time, so please check back often to view current offers.
I made a purchase at a participating merchant offering a Cashback offer and have not received my statement credit. Why is that?
For Online Cashback and In-store Cashback, allow a minimum of two to four weeks after your qualifying purchase for your credit to post to your account. If you have not received your statement credit after four weeks, contact Visa Global Customer Care Services at 1-888-466-9227 to investigate. For Travel Cashback, eligible statement credits will appear on your account statement within 60 days of completing your hotel stay or car rental period. For questions related to Travel Cashback statement credits, please submit a request through the Travel Cashback support link on the Contact Us page – found in the footer of the Program website. Travel Cashback Offers are offered and provided by Travel Cashback Offer providers. A Travel Cashback Offer is subject to the respective Travel Cashback Offer provider’s Terms and Conditions, cancellation policy and privacy policy.

Instant Coupons

What are Instant Coupons?
Instant Coupons are discount offers available to Visa Business cardholders. Cardholders do not need a linked card in order to use Instant Coupons. Cardholders may be asked to enter a promotion code during the checkout process on the merchant’s website or in-store. Merchant offer redemption terms will vary. The most current list of Instant Coupons can be found by clicking the “Get Instant Coupons” button on the Program website homepage. Instant Coupons promotion codes are managed by the merchant and may be subject to changes or exclusions. There may be additional limits and restrictions associated with a given Instant Coupons offer. Please review each offer for complete terms and conditions.
How do I use Instant Coupons?
It’s easy to get savings with Instant Coupons:
  1. Select the offer link in an Instant Coupons offer to apply coupon and shop online or present offer coupon code in-person at check-out. Follow the merchant’s specific offer terms.
  2. Pay with your Visa Business card to receive a discount at checkout on your eligible purchase. Please review each offer for complete terms and conditions
  3. Instant Coupon purchases do not earn cashback.

Statement Credits

How will I receive my Visa SavingsEdge discounts?
Discounts from Cashback Offers will be posted as a statement credit to your linked Visa Business card account and will appear on a future account statement. Look for credits with the following description: "Visa SavingsEdge Award.” Instant Coupons discounts do not qualify for cashback. For Instant Coupons, please verify that your discount is being applied prior to completing your purchase.
When will my discount appear on my Visa Business card statement?
Your statement credit from Cashback Offers will be posted on a future account statement. Due to processing time, the statement credit may not be posted on the same statement on which the qualifying purchase is posted. For Travel Cashback, eligible statement credits will appear on your account statement within 60 days of completing your hotel stay or car rental period.
I received a credit on my statement that I do not recognize. What is this?
Your employer may have linked your Visa Business card in Visa SavingsEdge. Your Cashback Offer discounts appear as statement credits on your Visa Business card account.
I noticed a purchase and credit discrepancy on my Visa Business card statement. What should I do?
A discrepancy may occur if any of your purchases were not qualifying purchases. For Cashback Offers, it may take more than one statement billing cycle for some of your credits to be posted. If over four weeks have passed since your qualifying purchase was made, contact Visa Global Customer Care Services at 1-888-466-9227 to investigate. For Travel Cashback, eligible statement credits will appear on your account statement within 60 days of completing your hotel stay or car rental period. For questions related to Travel Cashback statement credits, please submit a request through the Travel Cashback support link on the Contact Us page – found in the footer of the Program website.
How will I recognize the credit on my statement?
When you receive your statement, look for a credit with the following description: "Visa SavingsEdge Award."
Is there a limit to how many statement credits I can earn from Cashback Offers?
There may be limits and restrictions associated with a specific merchant discount. Please review each merchant discount including offer terms and conditions for details. Participating merchants and current offer details are available online at www.visasavingsedge.com.

Canceling Program Participation

How do I cancel my participation in Visa SavingsEdge?
To cancel your participation in Visa SavingsEdge, log in to the Program website at www.visasavingsedge.com, click on My Account, select Profile and Settings, then select Delete Account. You will receive a message asking you to confirm account deletion, and after you confirm, your account will be deleted from the Program. You will receive an email confirming that your account was deleted. If you delete all cards linked in the Program but still keep your account, you will not receive any discounts from Visa SavingsEdge Cashback Offers. Your username and password will remain valid if you choose to participate again in the future.
I'm no longer receiving discounts and I did not cancel my participation. What should I do?
It's possible that your Visa Business Card number has changed because you reported it lost or stolen, or your Issuer sent you a new card in the mail. If so, please link your new card number on the Program website at www.visasavingsedge.com. If your card number has not changed, please contact Visa Global Customer Care Services at 1-888-466-9227 to investigate. NOTE: If your account is not in good standing, your participation in the Program may be discontinued. When your account returns to good standing, you may begin to receive the discounts again after you re-link your card in the Program. It may also be possible that a Merchant no longer participates in the Program, in which case discounts from that Merchant will not continue.
Can I link a Visa Business card in Visa SavingsEdge after I have canceled my participation?
Yes, you can link an eligible Visa Business card at any time. Once you successfully link a new card, you will resume receiving Visa SavingsEdge discounts on qualifying Cashback Offer purchases at participating merchants.
Will I be able to keep my statement credits if I cancel my participation in Visa SavingsEdge?
Yes. You will receive statement credits on any qualifying Cashback Offer purchases made at participating merchants prior to canceling your participation in Visa SavingsEdge.
What happens if I book travel using a Travel Cashback Offer but delete my account before I travel?
If a Cardholder completes a Travel Cashback booking but deletes their Visa SavingsEdge account before completing their booked travel, any potential Travel Cashback associated with the Travel booking will not be issued. Although the booking may still be fulfilled and the Cardholder can still use their booked travel, the Cardholder’s Visa SavingsEdge account deletion will prevent the Cardholder from receiving Cashback from their purchase. The Cardholder will also be unable to log in and retrieve documentation about their booked travel, and will not be able to make any future Travel Cashback purchases. Please note that to receive information or documentation related to the travel booking, the Cardholder will need to go to the "Contact Support" section and fill out the Travel Cashback form with the required fields, including their confirmation email.

Visa Customer Care

What happens if my card is lost or stolen?
If your Visa Business card is lost or stolen, first call your Issuer at the telephone number on your cardholder agreement or on your account statement. If you do not have your cardholder agreement or an account statement, call (800) VISA-911 to report the loss or theft.
What if I receive a replacement Visa Business card with a different card number?
If your Issuer provides you with a replacement Visa Business card with a different account number, you must link your replacement card in Visa SavingsEdge to continue receiving discounts on qualifying purchases at participating merchants. You must also delete the previous card number that was linked to your account.
What if I forget my password?
You can reset your password by going to www.visasavingsedge.com and clicking Log In. Under the email and password fields, click on the ‘forgot password’ link . Input the email address associated with your Visa SavingsEdge account, complete the CAPTCHA. and click ‘continue.’ You will receive an email with instructions on how to reset your password. You will need to correctly answer your security questions to complete the process. If you forget the answers to your security questions or have further questions, please contact Visa Global Customer Care Services at 1-888-466-9227 for assistance.

Program Communications

How will my email address be used?
Visa may send you periodic email updates to inform you of Program changes or updates. You may also receive promotional communications about Visa SavingsEdge, participating merchants, offers and Program updates if you opt in to receive them.
What if I would like to receive promotional emails about Visa SavingsEdge?
When you link your card(s) in Visa SavingsEdge, you can indicate your preference to receive promotional email communications. You can change your preferences at any time by logging in to your account on www.visasavingsedge.com.
What if I prefer not to receive any emails about Visa SavingsEdge?
When you link your card, you can opt-in to receive promotional emails about Visa SavingsEdge. However, you will automatically receive emails about cashback earned as part of the core Program.
How will my mobile number be used?
When you link your card, you can indicate whether you prefer to receive real-time SMS notifications about cashback awards earned. If you opt in, you agree to receive automated text messages about cashback earned on qualifying purchases. Message frequency will vary and message and data rates may apply. You can opt out at any time by selecting unsubscribe from within the text message or by changing your preferences at any time by logging in to your account on www.visasavingsedge.com.
How often will I receive Program updates?
Visa may send you periodic updates to inform you of Program changes or updates. When you link a card in Visa SavingsEdge, you can indicate your preference to receive promotional emails. You can change your preferences at any time by logging in to your account on www.visasavingsedge.com.

Is my information secure?
There is no higher priority for Visa than safeguarding those who use our products, services or network. Recognizing that the cyber threat landscape continues to evolve, Visa is committed to championing cybersecurity within our operations. We use an established risk assessment methodology and framework to identify cybersecurity risks and associated business impacts. Visa then implements a layered defense-in-depth strategy to help mitigate the risk of cyber threats. We maintain physical, digital, and procedural safeguards that comply with applicable privacy and data security laws and regulations.
What strategy does Visa take against phishing?
Visa employs multiple layers of security to guard against phishing attacks targeting the Visa brand, our customers, products, Programs, and services. Visa’s Cybersecurity team operates on a 24x7 and global basis to protect Visa networks and data. If an email directed at Visa or using our brand is identified as phishing, Visa and its network of Internet security partners will investigate and, in some instances, seek to take malicious sites off the Internet.
How do I know the emails I receive from Visa SavingsEdge are legitimate?
Scammers will often use a popular brand name and logo to attempt to get past your defenses. It could be a big brand like Visa or another trusted financial institution. So, it pays to be alert, even if you’re a customer of the company unless you reach out to Visa directly. Visa SavingsEdge emails will always include the Program name in the sender's name field. We will NEVER ask you for personal information or to verify anything about your Visa Business card account. If you’ve received a possible phishing scam of any sort (email, text, or phone) and it uses Visa’s name, we’d like to see it. Report it to phishing@visa.com.
